Jamie Leibert - Wingsuit Athlete

A wingsuit athlete is someone who flies a wingsuit as their sport and their profession, whether through BASE jumping, skydiving, or wingsuit alpinism, which is climbing a route to a summit and flying off it instead of walking down.

I am a professional wingsuit athlete and filmmaker. I have wingsuited, paraglided and climbed in 80+ countries. I took bronze at Norway's 2016 Extreme Games in Voss, the only non-Norwegian to place that year, and I jumped the world's highest bridge at China's 2025 invitational, coverage that ran as news on Xinhua, China Daily and Global Times.

I battle PTSD every single day through adventure and extreme sports. I founded the Battling Monsters movement and run Just Care More, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 47-3874536.

In February 2027, I go back to South America's largest rock face in Chile for a third attempt at a world first: a wingsuit BASE jump from the summit, then climbing the 28 pitches back up, carrying everything Sandra and I need for three days on the wall.

Two previous attempts did not get it done. This is the third.
